“My husband and I (and our son who is just over 2.5) have been thrilled with our experience with The STEAM Academy. The curriculum is loaded with hands-on scientific activities that are geared towards his age group and slightly above - which helps him to excel in his learning - and the teachers continue to communicate daily about his experiences and development.

The other day, he came home singing almost the entire alphabet (completely on his own), recognized a sign that read “exit” (again, completely on his own) after their emergency plan day, and is even learning the concept numbers and their meanings.

“My son has been going to STEAM academy for about 2 months now and he absolutely loves it! He would come home talking about his teachers and friends at school. We love the smaller class size setting and how each child gets tons of attention from the teachers. Ms. Katie is always so cheerful and happy. Ms. Meghan and Ms. Amy are the sweetest teachers ever, they are soft spoken but firm with the children. Teachers are often on the floor playing and interacting with children. Everyone is just so kind there and it’s a safe and calming environment! We have toured many preschools and daycares and we knew this was the right place for him as soon as we set foot into the museum. We signed him up for different sessions of summer camp this year at STEAM and he is looking forward to spend more time at preschool!”

“We just moved here the USA, Overland Park to be exact and my son barely speaks English at all, and is adjusting to the whole new place and culture, so I decided to enroll him in the STEAM Academy for him to learn and socialize.
